He arrived at the CTM!

Elder Reece arrived safely in Sao Paulo about 7:00 a.m. EST (Brazil is an hour ahead of us.)

We got a very nice email from the CTM and this picture:

Elder Miller is in the front, far right!

The Flight

Reece flew from Tampa to Atlanta, where he was probably meeting up with other missonaries headed to the CTM in Sao Paulo. I was watching his flights all day and thought it was interesting that he flew right over us on  his way to from Georgia to Brazil! I went out and waved (and cried) about 11:00 p.m.

The Send Off

Elder Reece left home at 11:00 a.m. this morning in order to get to the Tampa Airport for his 2:45 p.m. flight (and pick up Dad and brother on the way). He said he was excited and a bit nervous and Mom made him sad. (I did pretty good 'til he was out of sight.)

Last night we went out to dinner with Elder Reece and his younger brother Remington. (Older brother, Ryan, is doing a study abroad in Europe this semester, so they said their good byes on the phone on Sunday.) And then he was set apart as a full-time missionary by President Bailey.

Here are the pics so far:
